(The first paragraph below remains the same, skip it if you've read it before, go down one paragraph to check out the current rough take).

The rough take of the moment is simply a song which has been basically completed, at least in terms of form, 90% of the arrangement, and at least the vocal intent is there.  Rough takes are not exhaustively produced and they may not even be songs which will stand the test of time; * may never release them again!  So if you're a fan this is a great opportunity to catch something rare.  It is possible a rough take will only be out here for a couple days.  Of course, it's more likely it will be out here a month - or a lot longer, though I'd love to get back to updating monthly - if I do, I'll update this paragraph.  You should also know that all rough takes are copyrighted under the song titles provided, so please don't use them without permission.  I provide them solely for your personal enjoyment.  You may not sell them, distribute them in any way (well, you can share them with friends and so on, I mean distribute like in some formal way), perform them, or sample from them without expression permission (email me if you want to perform/cover a rough take or sample from it - I just want a little credit and some of the profits, so don't be afraid to ask).  Of course this doesn't apply to the many things here that are not originally mine.  You are encouraged, though, to point people to this site if you think they might be interested in the goings-on and shennanigans here.

Now that Jordan Weiss has joined and so it's basically a duo, there's at least several rough takes to share at once!  As stated above, these are in various states.  They are:

1 - Long Haul - Jordan on lead guitar, Wilson on rhythm/additional guitar, keyboard

2 - Stay - Jordan on lead guitar, Wilson on rhythm guitar

3 - European City - Jordan on rhythm guitar, Wilson on lead guitar

4 - Your Ballroom Days Are Over - Jordan on rhythm guitar, Wilson on lead guitar

There are several previous rough takes. if you're interested drop a note - some can be found at my page on mp3.com.  Enjoy.let me know what you think via the feedback page, I'd like to know.  PLEASE also visit my many rough takes on IUMA (suggested, I keep lots there!), Traxinspace, or MP3.COM - thanks!
